Join us for our program and connect with the programs offered by the National Library Service (NLS).
Program Begins June 16, 2025 and ends August 15, 2025
Please fill out the following information to sign up only if you are a patron or institution of the Alabama Regional Library for the Blind and Physically Disabled. Family members and caregivers of patrons are welcome and encouraged to participate. Once you click submit, your registration for Summer Reading at the Alabama Regional Library for the Blind and Physically Disabled will be complete.

The Alabama Regional Library for the Blind and Physically Disabled is a free braille and talking book library service for people with temporary or permanent low vision, blindness, or physical, perceptual, or reading disability that prevents them from using regular print materials. The Regional Library circulates books and magazines in braille or audio formats that are instantly downloadable to a personal device or delivered by mail free of charge. The National Library Service will kick-off their Summer Reading Program on June 15, from 1:00 p.m. to 2 p.m. Eastern time. Join author Mac Barnett for this live event and the reading of his book “Extra Yarn (DB127239). Additional events are planned. Please go to the NLS website for information.
