Orientation for new public library directors slated for September

The Alabama Public Library Service will hold a New Library Director's Orientation on Sept. 28-29. The two-day training for new directors will be hosted virtually on the Cisco WebEx videoconferencing platform.

This orientation/training is designed for directors with less than two years of experience in Alabama public libraries. The program is an opportunity to network and exchange information with other library directors, obtain vital skills to enhance your library's programs and services, and learn how to engage with your library board and the community you serve.
