APLS will be closed Jan. 26 due to weather

January 25, 2026

MONTGOMERY— The Alabama Public Library Service (APLS) will be closed on Monday, January 26, out of an abundance of caution due to the potential for hazardous driving conditions. While the risk of significant inclement weather is expected to be low, APLS’s top priority is the safety of its employees.

The agency plans to reopen on Tuesday, January 27.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate the public’s understanding.
